The Scientific Affairs Unit at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women, University of Baghdad, held a scientific symposium titled (A Legal Perspective on University Student Ethics – First-Year Female Students). The Associate Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Suhad Haseeb, a faculty member from the Individual Games Department, Lect. Dr. Huda Aidan, and the head of the Legal Division, Asst. Lect. Noor Ali Kazem presented the symposium
The symposium focused on three main themes. The first theme addressed the most important student duties according to the Student Discipline Regulations No. (160) of 2007, emphasizing the need to encourage students to comply with these rules to foster an aware and disciplined university environment. The second theme discussed the violations committed by university students and the legal responsibilities resulting from such violations under the same regulations. The third theme covered the fundamental legal guarantees provided to students, which they can rely on if disciplinary sanctions are imposed against them.
This symposium contributes to achieving one of the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4, which focuses on providing quality education.
