The Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Malih, welcomed Ms. Samar Mohammed Radi, a representative from the Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) – Al-Rusafa Branch, during an official field visit to the college.

This visit aimed to facilitate updating voter records and issuing unified biometric voter ID cards for the college’s staff and students.

It is worth noting that the IHEC field teams continue to carry out voter data updating campaigns across various educational institutions to prepare for the upcoming Iraqi Council of Representatives elections in 2025.

This initiative supports realizing one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — specifically, Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by fostering institutional collaboration toward national and democratic development.
