As part of the government’s ongoing support to empower youth and promote entrepreneurial projects, the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women – University of Baghdad welcomed the distinguished visit of Dr. Hussein Falamrz Taher, Advisor to the Prime Minister and Head of the “Riyada” Initiative, to the initiative’s training center dedicated to startup owners.

Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Malih, Dean of the College, and Prof. Dr. Naima Zaidan Khalaf, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, attended the visit. Dr. Falamrz was also received by Ms. Riam Abdul Kareem Abd, certified trainer in the “Riyada” Initiative and Head of the college’s IT Unit.

During his tour of the training hall, Dr. Falamrz met with a group of startup trainees, listened to their ideas and proposals, and offered guidance and advice to enhance their projects’ success. He stressed the importance of benefiting from such programs in building promising professional futures.

Dr. Falamrz commended the college and its administration’s efforts in providing logistical and moral support to the center, praising the “Riyada” Initiative as an effective platform for nurturing ideas and transforming them into productive projects that serve the national economy and empower Iraqi youth.

This visit reflects the government’s commitment to strengthening partnerships between educational institutions and developmental initiatives, thereby contributing to the establishment of a strong foundation for entrepreneurship within Iraqi universities.
