Prof. Dr. Iqbal Abdul Hussein, a faculty member at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women, University of Baghdad, participated in the international course to obtain the (C) category coaching license in handball. The course lasted seven days, from September 15 to 21, 2025, in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

The program was organized under the supervision of the International Handball Federation (IHF) in cooperation with the Saudi Arabian Handball Federation, and included intensive theoretical and practical sessions at the Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Sports City.

The course aimed to qualify and develop coaches’ skills in accordance with international standards. At the conclusion of the event, participants received the global (C) level certificates, which entitle them to apply for the next advanced level (B) coaching license.
