The courtyards of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women witnessed a large-scale tree-pruning and green-area maintenance operation on Thursday morning, 27 November 2025. The work was carried out under the direct supervision of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Fatima Abd Malih, who closely monitored the on-site process to improve the campus’s aesthetic appearance and enhance a healthy university environment for students.
During her tour, Dr. Fatima emphasized that caring for green spaces is an essential part of the college’s development plans. She noted that the work is being conducted in accordance with safety standards and with the support of a specialized team in agriculture and maintenance. She also explained that this initiative is part of a series of efforts to provide a more comfortable and cleaner educational environment.
The day’s work included pruning large trees, removing damaged branches, and cleaning pathways around the academic buildings. The remaining maintenance tasks will continue in the coming days.
The initiative was well received by students and staff, who appreciated the attention given to improving the campus environment’s overall appearance.
