The track and field team from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women at the University of Baghdad, led by coaches Dr. Hind Salem Tayeh and Ms. Zahra Hazim, achieved second place in the 100-meter sprint and third place in the 4×100-meter relay. These achievements occurred during the 5th Annual Track and Field Meet for Iraqi Colleges and Universities, held at Al-Kifl Olympic Stadium and hosted by Al-Hilla University with the participation of 23 public and private universities.
The meet was organized under the patronage of Professor Dr. Aqeel Al-Saadi, President of Al-Hilla University, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Dr. Ali Al-Hasnawi. The competitions were held in an ideal atmosphere, embodying the spirit of cooperation and integration between academic institutions. The Dean emphasized that this meet was not merely a sporting event, but a genuine platform for strengthening relations and building bridges of communication between Iraqi students and universities.

This meet fulfills one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
